Hello! I'm Alicia Anderson and I’m a Lighting Artist with Shading & Compositing experience.

As a Lighting Artist, I am very familiar with programs like
Maya, Katana, Vray, Renderman, Nuke, Photoshop, Mari, Mudbox, and various others. I’m able to create materials, textures, and UVs, as well as set up foreground and background lighting rigs, and composite the final renders into a finished product.

I have experience with VFX and animation from my time as part of Mill Film, the Technicolor Academy, and my undergrad work at the Academy of Art University (AAU).

While at Mill Film, I had the opportunity to set up key rigs for use among multiple shots, including a beginning set rig for two sequences. I was also able to more closely assist key artists and leads in setting up, organizing, and troubleshooting a sequence. In this role I was able to work on key shots, provide my assistance in making sequence-wide changes to solve various problems, as well as track shot progress and consistency.

Through the Technicolor Academy I was given the chance to dedicate 9 weeks to learning Katana and Renderman as well as the ins and outs of general studio lighting work, which allowed me to further hone my artistic and technical skills. During this time, I also continued expanding my proficiency in Nuke as a tool for making quick lighting changes for testing. I have similarly worked extensively with Maya and Vray through my time as part of the Studio X program at AAU, where I was a Lighting Artist and Student Lead for a number of short films. As a Lead, I assisted fellow students with any issues they had, set up shot templates, worked on show color correction and shot finaling, and organized files for archival, along with normal shot lighting work.
